Newt is a Newt

I find it quite hilarious that Newt "Pillsbury Doughboy" Gingrich wanted an "open marriage" with his ex-wife Marianne Gingrich while he was allegedly seeing his current wife, Callista. This all occurred while Newt was giving speeches around the country about family values and bitching about Bill Clinton's scandal.

Newt will NEVER be the GOP presidential nominee because he has no family or Christian values--- a major issue to the Republican base. He just wouldn't fall under the "conservative category".

However, Republicans are desperate to get that socialist, Muslim Barack Hussein Obama out of office because he's destroying our country, our constitution, our economy....you get the point.

If for some odd chance he would become the nominee, the Republican party as we know it will be finished. All those who would vote for Gingrich would be hypocrites. Which most of them already are. . . . For some reason, Republicans put there feet in their mouths much more often than democrats.

Liberal of the Day

Elizabeth Warren!

Recent Politico article shows an impressive fundraising quarter for the Massachusetts Senate race against GOP Scott Brown.

Democrat Elizabeth Warren’s campaign pulled in a whopping $5.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2011, besting Republican Sen. Scott Brown’s $3.2 million haul during the last three months of the year.
The staggering fundraising figures offer more evidence that the high-profile Massachusetts contest will be one of the most expensive – and heavily contested – Senate races of the 2012 cycle.
Warren’s new fundraising figures brought her total to $8.8 million since launching her campaign in September. She now has more than $6 million cash on hand but trails Brown’s $12.8 million on hand. The moderate Republican upset Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley in a January 2010 special election following the death of the longtime liberal Sen. Ted Kennedy.
A Harvard law professor and consumer advocate, Warren highlighted the fact the number of Massachusetts donors now totals 23,000, up from 11,700 in September. The average contribution to her campaign is about $64.
“From all across our commonwealth, people are supporting our campaign and the fight to level the playing field for middle class families,” Warren said in a statement on Wednesday.
“With Wall Street lining up against this campaign, already contributing millions and willing to pay any price to try to stop our work, it’s going to take a strong, grassroots effort like this to win.”
Warren’s big fourth quarter helped her campaign purchase $1.6 million in television ads in December.
While the exact breakdown of Warren’s contributions weren’t immediately known, a Massachusetts Republican Party spokeswoman suggested most of the money came from donors outside of Massachusetts. Warren’s September figures revealed that 70 percent of her donations came from out of state.
“Elizabeth Warren is being financed by extreme liberal special interests from outside Massachusetts,” said spokeswoman Alleigh MarrĂ©. “As the intellectual founder of the radical Occupy protests, she has a national network of left wing supporters eager to open their wallets to finance her agenda of bigger government, higher taxes and more debt.”

Liberal of the Day

And the liberal of the day is......
Scarlett Johansson The 83rd Annual Academy Awards - Press Room.Kodak Theatre, Hollywood, CA.February 27, 2011.

Scarlett Johansson!
Politico:
When Scarlett Johansson graced the cover of Vanity Fair in 2006, she was wearing nothing at all. For the magazine’s current December cover, she opted for clothes, but talked nudity in an interview about her recent phone-hacking scandal. She also chatted about the president.

Back in 2008, the actress boasted about exchanging emails with Obama, campaigned for him all over the country, sang “Yes we Can" and said, "My heart belongs to Barack.”

Three years later, have her feelings changed? “We’re all guilty of being idealistic, I and everyone who voted for him,” she told Vanity Fair. When asked if she would stump for the president again, she said, “It would be irresponsible not to.”

Pope: Gay Marriage a "threat to humanity"

Pope Benedict announced earlier this week that gay marriage was a threat to humanity's future.

"This is not a simple social convention, but rather the fundamental cell of every society. Consequently, policies which undermine the family threaten human dignity and the future of humanity itself," he said.

There are thousands of problems and conflicts in the world today. War. Hunger. Global warming. Unhealthy water. Poverty. etc...

Apparently gay marriage is a threat to humanity. I think any of the prior conditions mentioned are far more of a threat than the act of two loving individuals getting married. This is coming from a man who was, at one time a Nazi.

Classic liberal Susan Sarandon called Pope Benedict a Nazi a few months ago. Classic.

Picture of the day: Obamacare

All these GOP oddballs say they stand up for and represent "the common man." If they actually do, they won't repeal "Obamacare."

So funny how all these GOPers say how pro-life they are and how much candidates' views on abortion matter. They seem to forget about those who are already born. Millions of Americans didn't have health insurance coverage before health reform was passed, and thousands were dying every year because they simply couldn't afford the medical costs.
