Newt is a Newt

I find it quite hilarious that Newt "Pillsbury Doughboy" Gingrich wanted an "open marriage" with his ex-wife Marianne Gingrich while he was allegedly seeing his current wife, Callista. This all occurred while Newt was giving speeches around the country about family values and bitching about Bill Clinton's scandal.

Newt will NEVER be the GOP presidential nominee because he has no family or Christian values--- a major issue to the Republican base. He just wouldn't fall under the "conservative category".

However, Republicans are desperate to get that socialist, Muslim Barack Hussein Obama out of office because he's destroying our country, our constitution, our economy....you get the point.

If for some odd chance he would become the nominee, the Republican party as we know it will be finished. All those who would vote for Gingrich would be hypocrites. Which most of them already are. . . . For some reason, Republicans put there feet in their mouths much more often than democrats.

Bachmann's Failure

Michele Bachmann has officially dropped out of GOP Presidential race. Is this a surprise to anyone? No. Not really.

Why? People never really got to know her. Her robotic speeches and false historical statements caused many to shy away from the Minnesota congresswoman. She often came off as oblivious and  not human.

However, there is one large factor this Tea Party Patriot never really played upon in this primary season. Unlike Hillary Clinton before her, Michele Bachmann never played the woman/female card. One thing that propelled Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to the top of the ticket a few short years ago was that these two candidates were different than the usual presidential candidate; one was an African American and one was a woman. Both played upon these aspects of gender and skin color.

The Bachmann campaign never embraced the fact that she was a woman, the only woman in the race. Could this have helped her? I think so. After Hillary Clinton bowed out in 2008, and John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mate, many of Clinton's female followers began supporting the McCain/Palin ticket because of Palin.
Right now women are not "strongly" supporting Obama. Why didn't the Bachmann campaign jump upon this? Was she afraid of stealing Palin's thunder? Palin decided not to run back in...September. Maybe Bachmann was afraid of the criticisms facing women? Hillary Clinton was criticized over and over again for emotional distress and doubts of strength because she was a female. However, Hillary Clinton kept inspiration for millions of people alive by giving hope that she could be the first female president.

Many feminists are liberal. However, there are many conservative women out there who are fully supportive of women in power.

It will be interesting to see what Bachmann's next move is. I have a feeling we will be seeing her A LOT in the near future. Great...

Afternoon Thoughts

After watching last night's corrupt GOP debate in Florida, I've decided that unless the unemployment rates rise dramatically or the economy crashes and burns majorly, Obama will win reelection. For awhile, Obama was trying to appease to republicans and conservative independents -- a task that makes skiing uphill look easy, but has since realized his liberal base was crumbling. From the new tax proposals to the jobs/stimulus package, Obama has slowly began reeling in the frustrated liberals...including myself.

I find it funny how those rich republicans are just so against taxes, yet are so patriotic and "American-lovin'" .....ya....we know. Except if you really did love America, and you were serious about getting us out of debt, you'd pay your fair share and percent in taxes.
My dear republican readers...if there are any....your love child Ronald Reagan raised taxes 11 times! At what point to you stop convincing yourself Obama is a socialist who wants to steal your money and kill your babies, and realize that he is trying to help the country?

To the republican congressmen and women.... by blocking everything Obama proposes ...YES you are failing his proposals to help this country...but my dear patriotic, America-lovin' friends, you are also making this great country fail. You may disagree with his politics, but we need to support our president and our country to succeed.

The Appeal of Mila Kunis

A recent article from Politico revealed what every liberal had hoped: Mila Kunis is one of us. . . well at least an Obama supporter.

Politico:

Chin up Mr. President. The Sundance Kid may be rather disappointed in you but Mila Kunis still loves you. Yes, that Mila Kunis. From “Black Swan” and Marine Corps Ball viral video fame.
“I love Barack Obama, I voted for him and I will forever be proud of my vote," Kunis told the UK’s Stylist magazine.

The actress, 28, was promoting her new romcom, “Friends with Benefits,” but half the interview focused on politics. “How do you feel about the US debt crisis?” the interviewer asked. Not your typical Hollywood starlet question, but Kunis was happy to play ball.

“I think America is in a very temperamental state, and the decision that was made and the compromises made mean, in my opinion, that people are going to pay for a very long time,” said the actress.

Then she gave a nod to Obama for his efforts: “I know that he [Obama] tried. I know because you keep reading these reports of him trying to compromise with the Tea Party and the Republican Party and trying to come to a 50/50 agreement. I don’t think it was one. I feel the Democratic Party compromised everything and the Republican Party compromised pretty much nothing.”

When the interviewer called many young people “politically unaware,” Kunis agreed and said, “you are given such an amazing opportunity with so much information. Why is no-one taking advantage of it? You don’t have to watch Fox News or CNN or MSNBC; you don’t have to be part of a political party, you could just read.”

She chided the younger generation for not reading books, the news, the paper, and then zoned in on “Middle America.” “So obviously you are incredibly ill-informed to the point where they will go do these tests in Middle America… And they’ll ask, ‘OK, what party are you?’ And they’ll say, ‘Republican.’ ‘Why?’ And they can’t even tell you. They have no idea what the Republican Party stands for. Why did I vote for Obama? I can tell you why I voted for him, what I agreed and disagreed with him on, for hours.”

Her advice for the youth of today: “Whoever you vote for, don’t do it just because. And don’t tell me it’s because of religion either because that whole thing is knocked completely out the window. So you better just educate yourself.”-

Wow. Thank you Mila. You hit it right on the head. Growing up in the mid-west, this is what I dealt with every day. "Ill informed"...or simply brainwashed by their parents to the point of no return. Yes, Mila Kunis is an incredibly talented and extremely attractive actress, however the main reason I posted this is because she sums up the stupidity of so many people in my native region of our country. Obviously there are the few who stand out and know what the GOP stands for, but a majority that I know and knew, don't.

The BEST part of Mila Kunis being an Obama supporter is watching the scrubs at Big Hollywood scramble and become at a loss for words over this news....Why? Because awhile back, Kunis accepted an invitation to a military ball --- which is really cool and respectable for notable actress. During this time, the right-wingers at Big Hollywood convinced themselves that Kunis was a....wait for it....Hollywood conservative because she supported the military. Well, most liberals support or have some amount of support for our military. What the majority of liberals don't support is war. It is so fun watching Big Hollywood hang its head in defeat and then lashing out at her, for her views. They wanted to add her to the list of "hot" female republicans.

I hope to see more interviews by Mila Kunis about her support of President Obama and the ignorance of the GOP.

President Huntsman? Impossible With the Current GOP

If Republicans were smart, they'd nominate Jon Huntsman to go up against Barack Obama in 2012. The majority of Huntsman's values are conservative, however he has had liberal...I mean common sense views on global warming and evolution. Not to mention his power and work as a U.S. Ambassador to China.

Huntsman recently said he would call on the wealthy to "sacrifice".

"As president, I wouldnt hesitate to call on a sacrifice from all of our people, even those at the very highest end of the income spectrum,” Huntsman said.

The reason the GOP would be wise to put Huntsman up against Obama, is because Huntsman could possibly win over disappointed, centrist democrats as well as the undecided independents. The average undecided American voter isn't going to vote for someone who is bulldozing and then expanding their $12 million dollar beach house, or someone who is promising to lower gas prices below $2 a gallon. These average undecided American voters don't want a candidate whose sole focus is restricting abortions or banning the construction and support of Muslim Mosques. They are looking to vote for a candidate who has common sense and is down to earth. If the Republican Party puts up a candidate that doesn't hold such common sense values and is making "out-of-this-world" promises, then those average undecided American voters will vote for Barack Obama who is down to earth and has an agenda that is not batshit crazy. Those frustrated liberals and centrist democrats will also support Obama, knowing that the alternative will destroy this wonderful country of ours.

Romney Real Estate

I find it very odd that the Romney family plans bulldoze and then expand their $12,000,000 La Jolla, CA beach house, in a time when millions of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Romney NEEDS to win over independent votes to succeed in taking over the White House in 2012. Many on the right are like Romney and have multi-million dollar mansions from coast to coast. He'll get their votes. However, the majority of independents are looking for a candidate that is somewhat "like" the average person in America, not someone who is rebuilding mansions. They want someone who understands them and the problems they're going through.
* It also is important to note that Mr. Romney may be worth up to a quarter of a billion dollars.

Remember in the 2008 election when it was revealed that John McCain had somewhere between four and seven houses around the country?! That turned a lot of independent voters away from McCain, because so many Americans were hurting around the country.

The Romney's own multiple properties around the country. They can. They have the money. However, they may want to wait until after the election to expand and transform their beachfront mansion from 3,009-square-feet to 11,062-square-feet.

Actually, no....go ahead and expand. Make sure you let everyone know how rich your family is. Especially the undecided independent votes.
